Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Analytics Consultant to consult, review, and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges. The role involves performing data analysis to support strategic initiatives, developing insights from technical systems and business processes, leading cross-group projects, mentoring staff, and collaborating with various stakeholders.

Job Responsibility:

Consult, review and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable data factors
Perform moderately complex data analysis to support and drive strategic initiatives and business needs
Develop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data driven insights while identifying opportunities for engineering enhancements
Lead or participate on large cross group projects
Mentor less experienced staff
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, external contractors, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Leverage a solid understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for supported area

Requirements:

4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Hands-on experience in reporting and data analysis
Performing quality check/analysis on BI products
Writing advance SQL and stored procedure or similar experience
Oracle, SQL Server or similar database experience
Advance Tableau, Power BI experience
Extensive knowledge and understanding of data research and analysis
Strong analytical skills with ability to draw conclusions and translate findings from data
Tableau certification
Automation of process using PowerShell / VBA
Experience in HR domain using Workday
ETL Tools: Alteryx/SSIS
Power BI, Python/R, data mining, machine learning
Financial experience
Good team player
