Job Description:

Senior Analytics Consultant role at Wells Fargo focusing on data analysis, consulting on business challenges, driving strategic initiatives, and mentoring staff while ensuring compliance with risk management requirements.

Job Responsibility:

Consult, review and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges
Perform moderately complex data analysis to support and drive strategic initiatives and business needs
Develop deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data driven insights
Lead or participate on large cross group projects
Mentor less experienced staff
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, external contractors, and mid-level managers
Leverage solid understanding of compliance and risk management requirements

Requirements:

4+ years of Analytics experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering
Working Knowledge of analytics application like Power BI/Power Automate/Power Apps
Working knowledge of workflow applications like Workday, ServiceNow
Working knowledge of database tools like Oracle, MS SQL, Snowflake
Experience working with complex datasets using SQL
4+ years of experience with creating visualizations
5+ years of experience in Power BI
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Hands-on experience in ETL development using any ETL tools
Good experience working on dashboard development using Power BI and Advanced SQL
Good experience working on SQL/PL-SQL

Nice to have:

Certifications in BI Reporting tools Data Management, or Data Engineering
Working on python or any Data science tools
Domain understanding of HR and its complete product lifecycle (Hire to Retire)
Simple documentation skills
Consultative skills: ability to rationalize business need and solution design
Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and inter-personal skills
Ability to perform analysis, build hypothesis, draw conclusions, and communicate clear, actionable recommendation
