Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Analytics Consultant to join the BSA/AML Data Product and Transformation team to build a centralized capability to store, manage and analyze Financial Crimes Compliance Operations data to fulfill the Bank's regulatory, compliance and risk commitments.

Job Responsibility:

Consult, review and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges
Perform moderately complex data analysis to support and drive strategic initiatives
Work with data partners to develop requirements to accurately identify populations that require remediation
Convert complex business requirements into actionable technical requirements
Assist with the development of code to satisfy requirements
Lead initiatives across multiple lines of business to create consistency
Identify gaps or inconsistencies within requirements and work toward effective solutions
Develop deep understanding of technical systems and business processes
Lead or participate on large cross group projects
Mentor less experienced staff
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, external contractors, and mid-level managers
Leverage solid understanding of compliance and risk management requirements

Requirements:

4+ years of Analytics experience
Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment
Knowledge and understanding of business requirements gathering and translation to technical requirements
Problem solving using data and business knowledge
Experience with Wealth & Investment Management customer and product data
Knowledge of the modern data stack and experience performing complex data analysis, research, and visualization using tools such as SQL, SAS, PowerBI, Alteryx, etc.
Familiar with large relational databases
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Familiar with Hadoop / Google BigQuery / Spark / Vertex AI

Nice to have:

Experience with Wealth & Investment Management customer and product data
Familiar with Hadoop / Google BigQuery / Spark / Vertex AI
