Job Description

Step into the role of Senior Analyst at Barclays, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future. In this pivotal role you will manage operations within a business area and maintain processes, risk management initiatives, and compliance with relevant regulators. You will take ownership of your work, ensuring it aligns with the relevant rules & regulations, and codes of conduct. You will focus on supporting and delivering a high-quality client experience by handling underwriting activities with accuracy, ownership, and efficiency. The role holder is expected to make prompt and informed decisions using various risk assessment and affordability tools while ensuring strong compliance with governance, risk, and control standards within Barclays.

Job Responsibility

  • Support various business areas with day-to-day initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution
  • Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes
  • Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations in operational processes
  • Development and implementation of operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency
  • Development of reports and presentations on operational performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders
  • Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in banking operations
  • Participation in projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
