The Procurement department is designed to support Vestas' Global Business and its End Customers. Our strategic objective is to build a competitive advantage for Vestas in the growing market and make it even more powerful in the coming years. Given the dynamics of the market and our goal to claim leadership in that market, you will join a fast-growing environment with notable opportunities for growth. As a member of the buying team, you will be responsible for executing operational buying activities in alignment with Vestas' Buying Policy and procedures, meeting performance targets, and building collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
Job Responsibility:
Analyze end-to-end buying performance data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement
Prepare and present KPI reports, cost-saving tracking, and performance metrics
Use tools like Excel, Celonis, and BI platforms to support fact-based decision-making
Work closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., Finance, PMCI, DS) to align procurement strategies with business goals
Deliver targeted training and guidance to key stakeholders on effective data mining techniques and actionable insight generation to improve efficiency and process compliance
Support implementation of global commodity strategies and standardization efforts
Ensure adherence to internal systems and audit requirements (e.g., SOX, PTP processes)
Requirements:
Relevant business, engineering, or computer science degree
At least 5 years of relevant experience in the Buying or Procure to Pay Process/Procurement/Supply Chain function
Experience with SAP ERP, SAP BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, or similar
Good investigative skills, including the ability to analyze and interpret complex information from numerous sources, prepare and present analysis and reports, deal with challenges creatively, and provide business-focused solutions
Good organizational skills and experience working in a fast-paced and demanding professional environment, with a capacity to prioritize, meet business goals, perform, and always work with a customer-focused approach
Good English written and verbal communication skills, and able to speak with conviction
Flexibility to work in shifts and occasional overtime when needed
Nice to have:
Fluency in English (other languages are highly valued)
