Job Description

At Baxter, we believe every person—regardless of who they are or where they are from—deserves a chance to live a healthy life. It was our founding belief in 1931 and continues to be our guiding principle. We are redefining healthcare delivery to make a greater impact today, tomorrow, and beyond. Our Baxter colleagues are united by our Mission to Save and Sustain Lives. Together, our community is driven by a culture of courage, trust, and collaboration. Every individual is empowered to take ownership and make a meaningful impact. We strive for efficient and effective operations, and we hold each other accountable for delivering exceptional results. Here, you will find more than just a job—you will find purpose and pride. At Baxter, compliance is not a back-office function — it is a core enabler of our mission to Save and Sustain Lives. Within Global Trade Compliance, we operate at the intersection of regulation, supply chain, and risk management, ensuring compliant and resilient international flows across EMEA. As Sr Analyst, Trade & Customs - EMEA , you will act as a key operational and advisory contributor within Baxter’s Global Trade Compliance organization. You will support EMEA sites and functions by ensuring compliance with EU and international trade regulations, while contributing to audit readiness, process standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role is well-suited for a hands-on trade compliance professional who values accuracy, structure, and regulatory depth, and who enjoys working in a complex, multinational environment.

  • Coordinate and support audits of import/export transactions and follow up on corrective actions
  • Support tariff classification, customs valuation, origin determination, and free trade agreement processes across the region
  • Assist with customs and trade authorizations (e.g. AEO, IPR, REX)
  • Contribute to trade compliance projects, including cost-saving initiatives (FTAs, duty relief programs, special regimes, etc.)
  • Support standardization of trade processes and internal controls across EMEA
  • Prepare responses to official requests from customs authorities and other government agencies
  • Act as a key interface with internal stakeholders, customs brokers, service providers, and regulators

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Experience working with customs authorities and external service providers
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
  • Clear and confident communication skills in a cross-functional, international context
  • Fluency in French and English is mandatory

What we offer
