Job Description:

As a Senior Analyst in AlphaSights’ Strategy & Analytics team you will play a key role in enabling senior leadership to make better-informed, data-driven decisions that further the growth of the business. You will be instrumental in driving AlphaSights’ growth agenda by supporting and leading company-wide strategic initiatives with data-driven performance measurement and analytically grounded decision-making. This is a chance to utilise your skills in problem solving, quantitative analysis, and communication to help shape AlphaSights’ future commercial and operating model.

Job Responsibility:

  • Data analysis: Extract data from our proprietary systems, perform quantitative analysis, and draw valuable insights
  • Strategic projects: Run and drive high-impact strategic initiatives in partnership with senior leadership, focusing on commercial growth areas such as pricing and go-to-market strategy
  • Executive communication: Present insights to senior leaders across all business functions to inform and guide key strategic decisions
  • Domain ownership: Take ownership of the business results and impact associated with strategic initiatives you implement across your domain, from ideation through to implementation
  • Process management: Own and diligently execute key processes that support AlphaSights’ commercial effectiveness, such as market benchmarking and client RFPs

Requirements:

  • ~2-3 years’ full-time work experience is required, preferably in a related role, e.g. strategy / management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy or data analytics
  • Proven record of being a strong performer, capable of driving organisational success through data-related skills
  • 2:1 or above in a quantitative degree (e.g. Engineering, maths, Economics, Finance)
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
  • Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Aptitude for solving complex and unstructured problems
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills, can meet tight deadlines, and prioritise workloads in a fast-paced environment
  • Obsessive attention to detail, and take a methodical approach to work

Nice to have:

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Experience with SQL and working with databases
  • Experience in bookkeeping and/or accounting
