Job Description

Microsoft’s Cloud Analyst Relations (AR) team is seeking a senior AR leader to drive strategic engagement with top-tier industry analysts across Cloud & AI priority areas. This role sits within the Azure AR team, shaping how analysts understand and evaluate Azure’s leadership in mission-critical, regulated, and next-generation operational environments. You will partner closely with engineering, product, marketing, and sales teams to inform analyst perception, improve positioning in rated research, and amplify Azure’s differentiated value.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead end-to-end analyst relations strategy for Sovereign initiatives
  • Enterprise workload migration and modernization
  • Agentic cloud operations and platform intelligence
  • Hybrid & Edge computing
  • Build and manage relationships with key analysts across Gartner, Forrester, IDC, and emerging firms
  • Drive proactive engagement plans, including briefings, inquiries, and advisory sessions with Microsoft senior leaders
  • Own strategy and execution for participation in Magic Quadrants, Waves, and MarketScapes
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop clear, differentiated narratives that position Microsoft as Leader

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field AND 3+ years experience in communications, public relations, investor relations, analyst relations, product management/planning, research, or program management OR equivalent experience

  • 5+ years in Analyst Relations experience
  • 3+ years influencing analyst perception and outcomes in rated research
  • Effective executive communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels in a dynamic environment
