Job Responsibility:
Support research and review of compliance related matters by gathering facts, organizing information, and summarizing findings
Assist with responses to inquiries from regulatory agencies
Support settlement intake requests and related research activities
Respond to requests for information within area of responsibility from internal and external partners
Monitor compliance activities to help identify, track, and report trends
Prepare and maintain monthly reporting
Maintain documentation, trackers, and other materials that support compliance activities
Partner with the regulatory and compliance managers on projects, follow-up items, and ongoing departmental priorities
Mental Health Parity intake requests and related research activities
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
2+ years of insurance industry experience
2+ years of compliance, quality, regulatory, or related experience
Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey information to internal and external partners in a clear, accurate, and concise manner
Experience managing multiple assignments with competing deadlines
Strong MS Office skills
Nice to have:
Knowledge of self-funded health plans and Third-Party Administrators
Understanding of legal and regulatory requirements
Experience supporting reporting, trend analysis, or compliance documentation
