We develop pricing strategies, drive monetization initiatives, and optimize pricing models to enable Cisco’s platformization strategy, accelerate AI-driven offerings, and unlock cross-sell and upsell potential across our global portfolio. We are seeking a highly analytical and thorough professional to join Cisco’s Pricing team as a Sr. Analyst of Pricing Analytics. Collaborating with the Sr. Manager of Pricing Analytics, you will play a key role in delivering insights that drive pricing decisions across Cisco’s hardware, software, and services portfolio. You will help optimize value collection, strengthen driven positioning, and support the evolution of Cisco’s monetization models.
Job Responsibility
Partner with the Sr. Manager and multi-functional team members (strategy, finance, product management, and sales) to deliver actionable pricing insights
Develop and maintain financial and statistical models to evaluate price elasticity, willingness to pay, and product/feature pricing dynamics
Analyze transactional, usage, and financial data to find opportunities for pricing and discount optimization
Developed pricing dashboards, reports, and tools to track pricing performance and discounting trends
Conduct market and competitive analysis to inform pricing and monetization strategies
Build clear, data-driven presentations and communicate findings to stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization
Contribute to the continuous improvement of pricing processes, data accuracy, and analytics methodologies
Requirements
8 - 12 years of experience in data analytics, pricing analytics, financial/business analysis, revenue management, or related fields
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in pricing, financial modeling, or data-driven decision support
Proficiency with analytics tools (SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
Strong business acumen and ability to work with multi-functional teams
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
Nice to have
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, statistics, business analytics, or related field (advanced degree a plus).
Familiarity with SaaS, subscription, and consumption-based pricing models.
Experience in high-tech, software, or consulting industries.
