Job Description:

CVS Health is seeking an experienced indirect tax professional to join efforts in driving change. As a Senior Indirect Tax Analyst, you will report to the Senior Manager, Indirect Tax with primary responsibilities including working with internal and external partners to ensure all indirect tax compliance, audit, and accounting obligations are completed.

Job Responsibility:

Partner with a team of tax professionals to deliver all sales, use, and property tax obligations
Prepare, review, and analyze sales, use, and property tax compliance data
Collaborate with 3rd party consultants and internal parties to resolve indirect tax related issues
Assist with indirect tax audits
Prepare month end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations for indirect tax accounts
Research, analyze, and communicate the impact of indirect tax law developments
Monitor and evaluate business activities for filing responsibilities and nexus exposure
Research, understand, and determine the taxability of goods and services being sold and purchased

Requirements:

At least two (2) years of professional experience in a finance function (public or private)
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Nice to have:

Minimum 3 years of recent experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, results-oriented finance department
Experience with process automation, improvements, and standardization
Minimum 1 year of indirect tax compliance experience with US retail and healthcare sales taxability concepts
Experience with SAP
Ability to communicate clearly, accurately, and tactfully
Ability to work productively with a high degree of independence
Demonstrated ability to foster a positive and collaborative culture
