The Senior Financial Analyst performs a wide range of quantitative and qualitative analyses to help inform company decisions and strategy. The analyst will work very closely with the support functions to develop, analyze and report key financial and operational measures, develop target performance measures and plans to achieve these, develop and manage budgets and forecasts, and undertake special and complex analyses as required.
Job Responsibility:
Build and maintain models to support decision making with regard to planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management processes
Support, analyze and assist in the preparation of the company’s annual operating budget
Prepare, review and distribute monthly financial reports to Department managers
Track expenses and revenues vs. budget and reforecast and analyze fluctuations
Develop financial statement analysis, financial modeling and decision modeling to support initiatives
Develop, maintain and distribute ad-hoc reports, analysis and financial models as needed
Create new, evaluate existing, and develop more efficient financial reports
Effectively communicate information to colleagues and leadership
Ability to work and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of the organization
Regular and reliable attendance
Ability to work nights and/or weekends, as needed
Ability to work designated schedule
Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day
Ability and means to travel between local Exact Sciences locations
Ability to travel up to 10% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
At least 3-5 years of progressive financial related experience demonstrating the ability to work collaboratively with operational or support functions
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills and problem-solving abilities
Effective written and verbal communication skills and demonstrate critical thinking
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to operate in a cross-cultural environment
Ability to work in the details as well as review the big picture
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
