Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Analyst specializing in Finance Systems to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role is integral to supporting finance transformation initiatives and requires a deep understanding of financial systems, processes, and integrations. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in Oracle or similar platforms and demonstrate proficiency in both technical and functional aspects of financial data management.

Job Responsibility

  • Collaborate with finance, accounting, and IT teams to assess current processes and recommend improvements based on industry best practices
  • Provide functional and technical expertise across financial modules, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and related integrations
  • Design solutions for Oracle implementations and ensure alignment with enterprise financial operations
  • Facilitate system integration processes by mapping, validating, and optimizing connections between legacy systems and cloud platforms
  • Develop and validate Accounting Hub or similar financial transformation layers, including event models, accounting rules, and mapping logic
  • Document system and process workflows to ensure consistency and accuracy across financial operations
  • Support stakeholders in understanding and implementing system specifications to meet business requirements
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of financial systems to ensure seamless functionality
  • Partner with technical teams to optimize data mapping and integration strategies for multi-system environments
  • Provide ongoing guidance and support during the implementation and integration phases

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience working with Oracle or similar financial systems, with a solid grasp of both technical and functional aspects
  • Proven hands-on expertise in Accounting Hub, Subledger Accounting, or equivalent financial data transformation layers
  • Strong ability to translate finance requirements into actionable technical specifications
  • Familiarity with legacy-to-cloud transitions and data mapping processes
  • Experience in designing and optimizing ERP solutions within complex enterprise environments
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial data structures
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Prior experience in consulting or implementing Oracle Cloud Financials is preferred
