Job Description

As a Senior Financial Analyst for Electric Vehicle Charging, you will play a pivotal role in driving the financial performance and strategic growth of 7-Eleven’s EV charging business. You will be responsible for financial reporting, operational analysis, and process improvement, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data and supporting leadership with actionable insights.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead monthly P&L, general ledger, depreciation, and incentive accounting for EV charging operations
  • Analyze large and complex data sets, including utility information and competitive intelligence, to validate operational results and identify opportunities for growth
  • Prepare and present monthly financial performance reports and analysis to senior leadership
  • Ensure high standards of data quality and accuracy in all financial reporting
  • Oversee proper accounting and coding of EV incentives, credits, and utility accruals to ensure accurate financial statements
  • Develop and implement processes to integrate EV charging financial reporting into 7-Eleven’s broader financial systems
  • Stay current on trends, regulations, and developments in the electric vehicle industry
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and drive results.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelors/4-year degree (Finance/Economics/Statistics/Mathematics/Engineering)
  • Relevant Work Experience 8 years
  • Experience (required): 3-5 years of data analytics experience, accounting, finance, OR a related field
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills using Excel and/or Google Sheets, Power BI, etc.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of applications and thorough working knowledge of database concepts and common applications.

Experience (preferred): Experience working with accruals, P&L, Proformas, EV Financials
