Job Description:

As a Senior Analyst (Data & Systems), you will be responsible for the governance, optimization, and control of the earner payment process. This role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity, completeness, and efficiency of payment operations. Your work will involve deep data analytics and validation, the creation of robust system policies and governance rules, and the delivery of insightful reporting metrics. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in Finance business processes, process optimization, and system implementation, combining a keen eye for detail with a strategic, cross-functional mindset

Job Responsibility:

  • Be responsible for the source of truth of data within the process, utilizing pre built SQL queries for data extraction, reconciliation, and verification of complete data flow
  • Create and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess and report the effectiveness of implemented initiatives, driving a culture of continuous improvement
  • Act as the Program Manager for all team goals and process enhancement projects
  • Lead process enhancement initiatives, including working with Internal Engineers to prepare detailed requirements documents and secure cross-functional stakeholder alignment
  • Design comprehensive process documentation, including workflows, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and detailed end-to-end process charts, to support seamless system and technology integration
  • Create and implement system policies and rules for internal governance and robust control frameworks
  • Support on change management efforts related to the enhancements implemented, ensuring smooth user adoption and transition
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on organization-wide projects to assess the impact on the earner payment process, identifying and executing necessary team actions to support project objectives
  • Leverage ideas and learnings from organization-wide initiatives for implementation and improvement within the earner payment process
  • Support the earner payment service desk, executing on requests received via Slack or email and providing expert guidance on the process to end-users
  • Execute user-submitted tickets via Jira for tasks such as access provisioning or creating new payment types

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, finance business process and/or process optimization
  • Working knowledge of SQL and Advanced Excel to handle large volumes of data and draw insights and conclusions

Nice to have:

  • Working knowledge of Jira/Asana, and other process/project -related system tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of successfully improving business processes
  • Deep understanding of Finance business processes, specifically concerning upstream processes, financial analysis, and their control environment
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of working effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional environment
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
  • Hands-on expertise in Advanced Excel/Macros, PowerPoint, and G-suite
  • Experience of working with reporting tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar is a plus
  • Experience with Oracle R12 or any other large-scale Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
