Job Description

The Senior Analyst, Customer Finance plays a critical role in enabling data‑driven decision making through customer‑level financial insights, reporting, and analytics. In addition, this position will provide financial guidance around customer account planning, monthly reporting on customer progress toward annual objectives, variance analysis and resolution of financial challenges

Job Responsibility

  • Customer P&L Ownership (Tttl U.S.) - Support the development and ongoing enhancement of customer‑level P&L views, including customer, PPG, class‑of‑trade, and hierarchy‑based reporting
  • Dashboard Ownership & Analytics Enablement: Lead the creation and evolution of customer dashboards to improve financial visibility, including waste reporting, cost of sales analysis and P&L scenario modeling
  • Forecasting & Planning – Partner with sales to influence the estimate process and ensure understanding of key business drivers. Support customer teams in building annual and strategic plans
  • improve trade forecast accuracy and provide financial analysis and performance commentary for supported customers
  • Accounting Close Process – Participate in monthly, quarterly & year-end close processes with a focus on accuracy. Facilitate discussions with sales teams on key expense areas and ensuring understanding of relevant accounting principles and controls
  • Special projects as assigned
  • Partner with Finance leadership to translate analytical needs into scalable reporting
  • Partner with applicable sales leads related to $400M gross sales / $25M trade

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Marketing or Equivalent
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in finance, accounting or sales finance role
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in Power BI, Alteryx, data models, and query-based reporting
  • Strong understanding of accounting, finance, FP&A and customer‑level financial metrics
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, Analysis for Excel, intermediate knowledge of Power BI dashboards, data models, and query‑based reporting
  • Ability to bridge technical data discussions with Finance and business users
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with a focus on practical, scalable solutions
  • Clear communicator in cross‑functional, working‑level forums

  • Oversee the end-to-end invoicing lifecycle, ensuring 100% accuracy in complex billing cycles and compliance with bespoke customer agreements
  • Identify bottlenecks in the billing workflow and partner with the Finance Lead to design and implement automated solutions within NetSuite/QuickBooks
  • Perform root-cause analysis on recurring billing discrepancies and implement permanent process fixes while communicating with leadership on the context of the issues
  • Audit and validate customer agreements to ensure financial data integrity before account creation
  • Create customer accounts and process sensitive financial data accurately
  • Identify bottlenecks in the customer creation workflow and partner with the Finance Lead to design and implement automated solutions within NetSuite/QuickBooks and other softwares such as HubSpot, SpotDraft, etc
  • Manage high-priority or complex customer financial inquiries, translating technical issues into clear, professional communication
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with multiple departments to resolve structural billing hurdles for clients
