Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements and elimination entries for multiple entities and currencies
  • Perform and reconcile intercompany transactions, resolving discrepancies with stakeholders
  • Analyze variances and provide financial insights to support management and external reporting
  • Maintain consolidation models, intercompany reconciliation tools, and the global chart of accounts
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to optimize intercompany reporting and period-end close
  • Support the accounting team with journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and annual financial statements
  • Assist with external audits and tax-related requests for intercompany transactions

Requirements:

  • CPA designation required
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Experience with consolidation models in large organizations and multi-currency environments
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • able to handle large data sets and perform detailed financial analysis
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong commitment to accuracy and completeness
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French

Nice to have:

  • Big 4 audit experience is an asset
  • SAP experience is a strong asset

  • Assist with consolidation of financial statement results, including forecasts and plans to support variance analysis and statement commentary in a timely manner
  • Providing various ad-hoc analysis as required within Global Finance and SFS
