The JLL Real Estate Capital, LLC Compliance team serves as the second line of defense against operational, financial and reputational risk. The Senior Analyst will work independently to manage compliance operations and vendor oversight, maintaining compliance with all agency, lender and regulatory requirements. The Senior Analyst will possess strong organizational and problem-solving skills, and have the ability to manage multiple operational initiatives across the platform. The Senior Analyst will report to the Senior Director in Compliance and provide support for the JLL Real Estate Capital origination, underwriting, closing and servicing teams. The Senior Analyst must demonstrate strong attention to detail, organization, critical thinking and analytical orientation, and possess the initiative to work in an independent and reliable manner. The Senior Analyst will be relied upon by Senior Management to work autonomously and provide thoughtful strategies to support and develop the company’s compliance framework.
Job Responsibility:
Ensure compliance with all Agency and regulatory requirements
Composition of policies and procedures, to include comprehensive annual reviews and updates as needed
Oversee JREC's Vendor Management program to include onboarding/offboarding, annual compliance reviews, and system updates and/ or program enhancements
Administer departmental mailbox and correspondence to ensure timely response and resolution of compliance inquiries
Manage system access administration including employee onboarding and offboarding, user permissions, and periodic auditing of access controls
Assist with internal and external audits as needed
Assist with regulatory reporting as needed
Other duties as deemed necessary
Requirements:
Undergraduate degree preferred with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience
Strong Microsoft Office proficiency
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong time management skills and ability to operate under demanding deadlines
Ability to recognize, understand and mitigate risk
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to audit own work
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Familiarity and knowledge of commercial real estate loan documents
