Job Description:

The Sr. Business Analyst supports UM Clinical Operations by making data accessible and actionable for teams and stakeholders. This role involves creating reports and tools that help guide decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key to understanding business needs and delivering data-driven solutions.

Job Responsibility:

conducts in-depth analysis of program data, metrics, and performance indicators by identifying trends, patterns, and insights to assess program effectiveness, efficiency, and impact
create reports and tools that help guide decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement
analyze data to inform process improvements
develops and maintains data reporting systems and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to clinical services, such as patient outcomes, quality of care, and operational efficiency
implements performance monitoring systems to track and evaluate the effectiveness of clinical services
analyzes opportunities of areas of concern and recommends corrective actions for team advancement and development
support program implementations as needed

Requirements:

3-5 years in project management, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration
3-5 years experience with data analytics tools and business intelligence platforms
experience with creating documentation that translates business needs into technical requirements and vice versa
excellent verbal, written communication skills
proficiency with MS Excel, Power Point, QuickBase

Nice to have:

able to create new reporting
familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid regulations
