Job Description:

CVS Health offers an exciting opportunity to join as a Senior Analyst, Business & Project Analyst within the Business Intelligence, Analytics, and Automation group. This role involves translating complex business needs into actionable insights, driving project implementation, and optimizing processes within Pharmacy Benefit Management Finance.

Job Responsibility:

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business needs, conducting thorough analysis of business processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization
Create detailed documentation of business requirements, functional specifications, process/data flows, and user stories
Partner with IT, BI development, and Automation/ Analytics team members to define requirements and ensure a seamless integration of processes with business workflows
Engage proactively with stakeholders to align business objectives with proposed solutions
Coordinate people and processes to ensure that projects are delivered on time and produce desired results
Develop the Business Requirement Document which includes a project's scope and objective, and a detailed project plan
Lead stakeholders and internal resources through project milestones through to a successful product delivery
Anticipate and mitigate risks to the project’s success or on time completion
Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends relevant to business analysis
Actively contribute ideas and insights to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the team

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, or a related field
Must be experienced in communicating ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
1+ years of project management experience, successfully managing projects that impact multiple teams, departments and/or functions
1+ years of experience documenting complex business process flows for optimization

Nice to have:

Experience in healthcare industry, including health insurance, PBM or pharmacy services
Prior experience working in agile environment and with Agile Project Management tools (Atlassian/Jira/Confluence or like)
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new business processes and experience in process improvement methodologies such as Lean Thinking and Six Sigma
Experience with project management tools such as QuickBase, Smartsheet, Jira
Ability to work efficiently under potentially ambiguous circumstances
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
