The Senior Analyst – OTC Trade Confirmation is responsible for the timely and accurate confirmation of OTC derivative trades across multiple asset classes. The role ensures trades are confirmed in line with ISDA standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls, while proactively managing exceptions, discrepancies, and counterparty escalations. The position requires strong product knowledge, attention to detail, stakeholder management, and the ability to drive process efficiency and risk mitigation.
Job Responsibility:
Perform end‑to‑end confirmation of OTC derivative trades including Interest Rate Derivatives, Credit Derivatives, FX Derivatives, Equity & Commodity OTC products
Validate trade economics against front‑office systems, term sheets, and confirmations
Ensure confirmations are completed within agreed SLAs and industry standards
Investigate and resolve trade breaks, mismatches, and disputes with counterparties and internal teams
Proactively track aged/unconfirmed trades and escalate risks appropriately
Ensure accurate documentation of issues and resolution paths for audit and regulatory review
Liaise with front office, legal, risk management, back office, and external counterparties
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as EMIR, Dodd‑Frank, and other local regulations
Support audits, risk assessments, and regulatory inquiries
Maintain strong operational controls to mitigate operational and counterparty risk
Identify process inefficiencies and contribute to automation, standardization, and control enhancements
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) and provide guidance or mentoring to junior analysts
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline
3–6 years of experience in Middle Office / Trade Support / OTC Confirmations
Strong understanding of OTC derivatives and confirmation workflows
Familiarity with ISDA documentation, CSA agreements, and regulatory requirements
