Job Description

You will develop the next generation of digital reconstruction technology by designing high-accuracy reality capture algorithms that bridge the digital and physical worlds. In this role, you will lead the design, optimization and implementation of 3D Reconstruction from images (SLAM, structure-from-motion and digital surface modelling) algorithms, directly influencing the high-accuracy reality capture capabilities used in global digital construction and geospatial applications.

Job Responsibility

  • Leading the development of algorithms for 3D content generation from images
  • Design and develop advanced 3D reconstruction algorithms using Python and C++ to power reality capture technology
  • Establish validation strategies to ensure algorithm robustness and accuracy across diverse real-world application domains
  • Collaborate with application engineers to integrate computer vision solutions into cloud, mobile, and desktop platforms
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and technical design to maintain a high standard of code quality and system performance

Requirements

  • Masters or PhD in Computer Science with a specialized focus on 3D reconstruction from images
  • Recognized expert in the 3D reconstruction domain
  • 10+ years developing computer vision algorithms for high-accuracy applications
  • Strong programming skills in C++ and Python
  • Experience in statistical parameter optimization

Nice to have

  • Experience with geospatial datatypes including coordinate systems, raster, vector, and point clouds
  • Background in LIDAR or mesh processing and exposure to machine learning pipelines
  • Bridge the gap between core geometry and adjacent fields like Neural Radiance Fields (NeRFs), sensor fusion (LiDAR/IMU), and real-time rendering pipelines to create cohesive spatial computing solutions
