Cultivate and strengthen relationships with clients to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. Provide support to clients regarding claims, payment issues, and pending shipments. Oversee end-to-end follow-up on the shipment lifecycle, ensuring timely updates and resolutions. Collaborate with the sales team to generate quotes for clients and actively pursue business opportunities. Coordinate effectively with multiple internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth air freight operations. Negotiate rates with carriers, agents, and offices to secure competitive pricing for clients. Achieve overall freight performance targets for assigned customers, driving revenue growth. Report any operational failures to the line manager promptly and keep clients informed. Monitor P&L performance and manage job invoicing processes efficiently. Handle air freight inquiries, quotations, and coordination with local and international clients. Drive improvements in on-time delivery performance for air freight services. Ensure 100% adoption of Cargowise and maintain the integrity of milestone status updates. Manage airline relationships at the station level to enhance buying power and lead negotiations on ad hoc or contracted rates. Coordinate with the pricing desk for RFQs, projects, and tenders as required.
