Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior AI Product Manager to lead the strategy and execution of AI solutions optimized for edge environments for Microsoft’s Adaptive Cloud and Azure Arc customers. This role focuses on enabling low-latency, high-performance AI workloads that run on distributed infrastructure while integrating seamlessly with cloud services and with Microsoft Foundry products. The ideal candidate is technical, hands-on, and deeply familiar with AI systems, capable of bridging business needs with engineering execution. You will define the roadmap, partner with engineering, and ensure our products deliver real-world impact across industries such as manufacturing, retail, and IoT. (Bonus: If you love solving complex problems and get excited about running AI where the internet barely reaches - this role is for you!)

Job Responsibility:

  • Identify customer pain points and translate them into actionable product requirements
  • Execution & Delivery: Work closely with engineering to design and deliver AI features for edge deployments
  • Ensure compliance with Responsible AI principles and security standards
  • Drive AI workloads and orchestration strategies for distributed environments
  • Customer & Market Engagement: Engage with enterprise customers to understand edge AI scenarios and adoption blockers
  • Analyze competitive landscape and ensure differentiation through innovation
  • Go-To-Market Expertise: Partnering with marketing, sales, and business development to craft positioning and messaging
  • Driving launch readiness, pricing, and packaging decisions
  • Engaging with customers and partners to validate value propositions and accelerate adoption
  • Measuring success through data and metrics, customer feedback, and revenue impact

Requirements:

  • 6+ years in product management, with at least 2 years in AI/ML or edge computing or media processing or video streaming
  • Strong technical background - ability to read technical specs, understand APIs, and work closely with engineering teams
  • Bachelor’s degree (1st degree) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms
  • Hands-on experience with AI frameworks, AI model deployment, containerization, and cloud-to-edge architectures
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate in highly technical environments

Nice to have:
