This is a hands-on engineering role in a forward-thinking team driving AI adoption in cybersecurity at enterprise scale. As our AI Developer, you’ll be pioneering how AI is used in cyber security - transforming how we detect and respond to threats, optimising security operations, and unlocking new proactive defence capabilities across WorkNest’s offerings.
Job Responsibility:
Design, develop, and implement scalable AI/ML solutions to tackle cybersecurity challenges
Own the end-to-end AI development lifecycle
Stay at the cutting edge of AI and cybersecurity by researching emerging techniques
Contribute to best practices and reusable tools for AI engineering within the team
Work closely with cross-functional teams including penetration testers, security analysts, software engineers, and product managers
Help embed AI capabilities into our GuardNest platform and other products
Requirements:
Proven development experience with Python (and ideally another language)
Experience with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
Hands-on experience developing and deploying AI or machine learning models in production environments
Experience with NLP, LLMs, or vector databases would be highly advantageous
A strong interest in cybersecurity
Familiarity with concepts such as OWASP, CVE, or SIEM would be beneficial
Experience deploying applications or models on cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
Familiarity with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and MLOps tools
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to accuracy, reliability, and performance in AI systems
A genuine enthusiasm for AI innovation and a proactive approach to learning new technologies
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
Experience delivering AI/ML projects in production environments
Nice to have:
