Job Description:

Our Beacon Hill OKC office is working with a banking client that is seeking a Senior Agricultural Lender to play a critical role in the bank's long-term agricultural lending strategy and succession plan, specifically in the Northwest region of Oklahoma. This is a high-visibility leadership position responsible for originating and managing complex agricultural relationships while building and leading an agricultural lending team. The ideal candidate brings deep agricultural lending expertise, strong relationship management skills, and the ability to operate confidently with executive leadership and sophisticated agricultural clients. This individual will be instrumental in shaping the future of the bank's AG platform.

Job Responsibility:

  • Originate, structure, underwrite, and close complex agricultural loan relationships
  • Establish and grow an agricultural lending presence in Woodward, Mooreland, or an approved Loan Production Office (LPO) where a team can be built
  • Manage a high-quality agricultural loan portfolio with a focus on credit quality, profitability, and long-term relationships
  • Build, lead, and mentor a team of 3-5 agricultural lending professionals
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to agricultural producers and agribusiness clients, understanding their operations, cash flow cycles, and long-term objectives
  • Work closely with executive leadership as part of a succession planning initiative for the agricultural lending function
  • Represent the bank in the agricultural community and maintain strong referral networks
  • Identify growth opportunities and contribute to strategic planning for agricultural lending
  • Ensure compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in agricultural lending, agricultural banking leadership, or senior relationship management
  • Minimum of 8 years of related work industry experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Economics, Finance, Business, or related field
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and other related products
