Job Description:

Programme Manager – Technology, Agile, Data, Front Office, Hedge Funds, Trading, SQL, Java – Financial Services – London – Contract – Up to £800/day (to umbrella company) Inside IR35. My client, a leading global Financial Services organisation, is seeking a Programme Manager to join their London office on an initial 6-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading organisation, working on high profile and critical projects within a key business line.

Job Responsibility:

Working closely with the engineering teams, driving execution across several data centric programmes, including the creation of a golden source of information for key trade data, working with the product catalogue to establish a view of all product offerings
Lead and drive an exciting AUM process re-engineering project
Deliver in Agile with fortnightly releases, ensuring clarity and accountability across senior stakeholders and engineering

Requirements:

Proven Programme Management experience in a fast paced Financial Services organisation (Investment Bank, FinTech or Buy Side firm)
Strong Agile delivery background
Strong understanding of index provider ecosystem, financial markets, and data-driven products
Technical understanding, preferably knowledge or experience of delivery SQL, Python Or Java related projects and platforms
Experience working with Quant Devs in a trading or hedge fund environment would be highly beneficial
Excellent communication skills
Complex data driven environments exposure
