Job Description:

Senior Agile Java Developer role in Prime Brokerage Technology providing solutions that underpin the operations of clients and traders. This is a major growth target for Citi with technology providing the key to unlock potential.

Job Responsibility:

Ownership and delivery on components within the Core Prime Brokerage platform
Provide technical leadership for an agile development team
Champion best practices in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
Foster a culture of quality through developer-led automated testing
Drive continuous improvement in SDLC, agile and DevOps processes
Lead design, planning and estimation discussions
Conduct high-level system analysis and architecture design
Facilitate requirement gathering and translate business needs into technical specifications
Oversee creation and maintenance of project and technical documentation
Identify and mitigate risks throughout the SDLC
Oversee production support processes
Provide technical leadership and serve as advisor to mid-level developers

Requirements:

Java
Test-Driven Development
Extensive experience in system analysis and programming of software applications
Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development
Experience in Kotlin
Experience in Cloud Technologies (Kubernetes, Open Shift)
Experience in Messaging Technologies (Kafka, Solace, TIBCO)
Experience in Database/Data Store/Data Query Technologies (SQL Server, Trino, Mongo, S3)
Experience in Observability Technologies (OpenTelemetry, Elastic Stack/ELK, Grafana)

Kotlin
