Job Description:

We are recruiting for a Senior Agile Delivery Manager to join an established organisation undergoing digital transformation. This is a hands-on delivery role, embedded within cross-functional product teams, working closely with Engineering and Product to drive real delivery outcomes – not just process. You’ll play a key role in improving how teams deliver, focusing on flow, predictability, and continuous improvement across a fast-paced digital environment. This is a hybrid role with travel to the Hereford office 2 / 3 times a week.

Job Responsibility:

  • Driving delivery outcomes across product squads, ensuring work is delivered predictably and at pace
  • Supporting the flow of work by identifying and removing blockers, managing dependencies, and maintaining momentum
  • Coaching teams on Agile principles using a pragmatic, “right-fit” approach
  • Working closely with Product Owners and Engineers to ensure a well-prioritised backlog and clear delivery goals
  • Using delivery metrics (cycle time, throughput, sprint data) to improve performance and predictability
  • Providing clear, data-driven updates on delivery progress, risks, and forecasts
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders and acting as a bridge between technology and the wider business
  • Driving a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and high performance within teams

Requirements:

  • Recent experience as an Agile Delivery Manager or Delivery Lead within a product-led or digital environment
  • Strong experience working day-to-day with engineering teams and Product Owners
  • Proven ability to drive delivery outcomes, not just facilitate ceremonies
  • Experience improving delivery flow and team performance using metrics (e.g. cycle time, velocity, throughput)
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with changing priorities and dependencies
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence
