In this role, you shape the next generation of AI‑supported and agent‑based processes together with Process Owners, AI Product teams, and IT. You ensure that AI is applied where it creates real, end‑to‑end value across the BMW Group.
Job Responsibility:
In close collaboration with Process Owners, you analyse existing processes, identify AI- and agent-based use cases, and design future-oriented process solutions by integrating available AI platforms, technologies, agents, data, and knowledge sources
Building on this, you connect process thinking with technical execution and take a driving role in initiating and delivering strategic, AI-based process initiatives with measurable impact on efficiency and value creation
At the same time, you assess and validate efficiency gains and balance them against the associated effort, for example with regard to data availability and governance requirements, embedding these considerations into business cases to ensure sustainable and scalable implementation
You translate concepts into feasible solutions by working closely with cross functional teams across business, IT, AI product, data and platform domains
With a strong focus on collaboration, you design human–AI interaction to ensure clear responsibilities, transparency, and effective day‑to‑day collaboration
In addition, you establish comprehensive AI risk and governance frameworks, ensuring that legal, ethical, and compliance standards are integrated into AI‑driven process design
Finally, you apply strong communication and facilitation skills to align diverse stakeholders on the use of AI, moderate discussions, and clearly communicate and visualise complex topics
Requirements:
University degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a comparable field
Strong conceptual understanding of processes and the ability to quickly understand complex business and production contexts
At least 5 years of experience in designing, transforming, or implementing AI-supported processes
Strong expertise in at least two of the following areas: Generative AI, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, agentic AI tools and systems
Extensive experience in project management and, ideally, project leadership, including communication with stakeholders and decision-makers
Deep conceptual understanding of AI technologies and AI agents, combined with high technical affinity and knowledge of relevant AI governance requirements
Ability to design AI-first process architectures rather than incremental digital improvements
Very good English skills and good German skills (at least B1), both written and spoken
