Job Description

Lead the affiliate and partnership strategy for JD Sports, driving performance, unlocking new opportunities and turning insights into measurable digital growth. The Senior Affiliates Manager is responsible for leading the growth strategy for affiliate and partnership programs across the APAC region. This role owns the day-to-day management and strategic development of key affiliate platforms, alongside broader partnership activity across multiple markets and fascia. The role is analytical, requiring expertise in performance measurement, understanding modelling, and data-driven optimisation. Operating as a individual contributor, this person will work closely with trading and paid digital marketing teams to ensure affiliate activity is integrated, commercially aligned, and contributing meaningfully to overall digital channel mix. This is a commercially focused role that sits at the intersection of data, partnerships, and digital growth, requiring someone who can translate performance insights into actionable strategies and influence decision making.

Job Responsibility

  • Own and drive the affiliate and partnerships strategy across APAC markets, with Rakuten as the primary network platform alongside other affiliate and partnership channels
  • Manage the full program lifecycle, from partner recruitment and onboarding through to optimisation, negotiation, and retention
  • Identify and activate new partnership opportunities across the APAC region, including content, cashback, loyalty, and strategic co-marketing partners
  • Own program reporting and performance analysis, delivering regular insights to the Head of Department with clear recommendations
  • Develop and maintain measurement frameworks to accurately track affiliate contribution across the funnel, including incrementality, attribution, and last-click vs. assisted revenue
  • Work closely with trading teams to align affiliate activity with promotional calendars, trading priorities, and commercial objectives
  • Collaborate with paid digital marketing teams to ensure channel integration, avoid cannibalisation, and identify opportunities for combined performance uplift

Requirements

  • Experience of 4 plus years working within affiliate marketing, partnerships, or digital marketing, with a focus on managing multiple programs, markets, or accounts
  • Demonstrated track record in delivering strategies and projects that support broader business objectives and drive revenue growth and ROI
  • Strong stakeholder management experience, including working with affiliate networks, senior leadership, marketing channels, and cross-functional teams such as legal and finance
  • Experience analysing performance, interpreting data and affiliate measurements, and making data-driven decisions to optimise programs
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and operating in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
