Job Responsibility:
Applying expert knowledge to manage complex complaints involving both consumer and disciplinary matters
Resolving disputes using various ADR methods, including informal conciliation, formal mediation, and face-to-face discussions
Preparing high-standard professional determinations, reports, and recommendations on complex issues
Providing specialist guidance to lawyers on registrations, practising certificates, and trust account handling
Mentoring staff and providing technical guidance to ensure high standards of performance
Leading continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency
Requirements:
Dispute Management Expertise: Substantial experience in a dispute or complaint management environment
Legislative Interpretation: A high level of understanding regarding how to interpret and apply legislation
Communication Skills: High-quality written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce reports and briefs under tight deadlines
Relationship Management: Ability to manage relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders, ensuring collaboration and alignment
Critical Thinking: The ability to evaluate problems from multiple perspectives and integrate solutions into work processes
