Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Management Professional to join the Program Management Improvement (PMI) team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the continuous evolution of the OnQ Project Management Methodology, ensuring it remains the gold standard for infrastructure and transport projects across the state. You won't just be managing projects; you'll be building the frameworks that allow thousands of others to succeed. From refining risk management processes to aligning technical manuals with state-wide policy, your work will have a direct impact on organisational productivity.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the ongoing development and enhancement of the OnQ methodology and associated templates
  • Develop state-wide policies and approaches spanning the entire project lifecycle from strategic planning and concept through to implementation and finalisation
  • Review and update project classification and risk management documents to ensure robust governance
  • Provide expert guidance on project management tools and techniques, promoting best practices aligned with the TMR Project Management Framework
  • Maintain and streamline the Project Management internet, intranet, and SharePoint pages to ensure easy access to critical information for all stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Proven experience maintaining and applying project management methodologies
  • Direct knowledge of TMR’s OnQ Framework is highly desirable
  • The ability to develop and implement best-practice approaches to project management
  • Exceptional ability to liaise with technical subject matter experts and diverse teams to achieve common goals
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the confidence to present on complex project management topics
