Job Responsibility:

  • Advisory & Expertise: Analyze and record complex transactions (mergers, acquisitions, and special transactions) across various business units
  • Financial Reporting: Lead the preparation of consolidated financial statements (quarterly and annual) as well as the Management's Discussion and Analysis (MD&A)
  • Governance & Standards: Monitor IFRS updates, draft accounting policies, and provide training to divisional finance teams on best practices
  • External Liaison: Collaborate closely with external auditors and contribute to the drafting of reports for the Board of Directors

Requirements:

  • CPA designation
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent proficiency in IFRS standards
  • Rigorous attention to detail and a commitment to meeting deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic and demanding environment
  • Full bilingualism (French and English, both oral and written) is required
