Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Advisor - Facility Projects to provide facilities management expertise and lead the delivery of new builds and refurbishment projects. This role is a fixed term contract but offers the opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of corporate and commercial assets. You will be responsible for full project lifecycle - from initial cost estimation and design briefs to the management of external contractors and final handover.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage end to end construction and refurbishment projects on time and within budget
  • Develop cost estimates, resource requirements and funding requests for all facility projects
  • Create design briefs, technical specifications and comprehensive tender documentation
  • Consult with internal business units to align facility planning with operational needs
  • Oversee consultants, architects and panel contractors to ensure high quality delivery
  • Provide guidance on accommodation strategies and cost optimisation
  • Ensure all works meet corporate policies and maintain rigorous project documentation

Requirements:

  • Proven background in leading construction projects and facility management
  • Experience managing external consultants and construction workgroups
  • Ability to develop long term accommodation plans
  • Excellent negotiation skills to manage relationships internally and externally
  • Substantial experience in project management and/or facility management
