We are seeking a Senior Admissions Consultant to join our Community Engagement team and play a key role in leading local (non-international) admissions and supporting families as they make one of the most important decisions they will make. This is a full-time, ongoing role and is the second-in-charge (2IC) within the Admissions team, reporting to the Admissions Manager.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the day-to-day operation of local admissions across Prep–Year 12
Line-manage and support P–12 Admissions Consultants and the Tour Specialist
Provide warm, responsive and professional service to prospective families
Act as the primary escalation point for complex enquiries and sensitive family matters
Respond to enquiries and manage applications with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Confidently communicate the MLC educational experience and enrolment processes
Support and oversee campus tours, open mornings and enrolment events
Oversee accurate records across CRM and student management systems
Lead the coordination of scholarships and general ability testing processes
Monitor admissions data and contribute to reporting, forecasting and ongoing improvement of admissions processes
Work collaboratively across the College to ensure a connected and positive family experience
Provide continuity of leadership in the absence of the Admissions Manager
Requirements:
Demonstrated experience in admissions, enrolments, education or a similar customer-focused role involving complex processes
Proven ability to lead, coach and support team members
A strong understanding of the independent school environment and domestic enrolment cycles
A genuine commitment to high-quality customer service
Strong attention to detail and confidence managing multiple processes
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Confidence using CRM and student management systems
Sound judgement, discretion and professionalism when working with families and sensitive information
Nice to have:
Experience with EnrolHQ, TASS, or enrolment reporting and forecasting will be highly regarded
