Job Description

Senior Administrator role joining a small team of 7 in the York office for a public-sector organisation. Temporary contract until the end of 2025 with possibility to extend. Full time (37 hours, Monday-Friday) with hybrid working after training completion.

Job Responsibility

  • Answering the phone and dealing with queries
  • Managing the regional inbox and responding to queries
  • Running reports and updating spreadsheets
  • Facilitating meetings and assessment/recruitment days
  • Supporting onboarding

Requirements

  • Strong Administration skills
  • Previous experience within public sector, regulatory or education environments would be ideal
  • Any HR duties would be advantageous
  • Capable of running reports and strong Excel skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise and multi-task
  • Strong IT skills
  • Ability to pick up new systems and procedures quickly

Nice to have

  • Previous experience within public sector, regulatory or education environments
  • Any HR duties
