Seeking a Senior Payroll Clerk to manage full-cycle municipal payroll and pension reporting. This role requires three to five years of experience navigating Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs), tax compliance, and year-end audits. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, discretion with confidential information, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a municipal environment.

Requirements
High school diploma or associates degree
training in business, accounting and payroll / accounting software
two to three years of experience with payroll processing
or any equivalent combination of education and experience
Previous experience in banking and/or accounting helpful
Demonstrated experience in payroll processing and financial administration
Strong understanding of invoice processing, reconciliation, and recordkeeping
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to collaborate effectively across departments
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial/payroll systems
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
