Job Description

Our client is seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant to provide advanced administrative support to department leadership and staff. This role requires excellent organizational abilities, professionalism, and the ability to manage a high volume of communication and scheduling needs. Candidates must have experience with phones and a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service to students, faculty, and visitors. Due to the nature of the work and onsite requirements, preference will be given to Hawaii residents. Applicants should be able to reliably commute or reside within the region to meet business needs. Job Responsibility

  • Provide senior-level administrative support to leadership and departmental teams
  • Answer and route phone calls, respond to inquiries, and greet visitors professionally
  • Coordinate calendars, meetings, events, and travel arrangements
  • Draft correspondence, reports, and presentation materials
  • Maintain files, records, and department documentation
  • Track deadlines, process forms, and support internal reporting needs
  • Assist with office procedures and help improve administrative workflows

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an administrative support role, preferably at a senior level
  • Experience handling phones and providing excellent customer service
