Job Responsibility:
Provide responsive, customer‑focused administrative support to academic and professional staff across the Academic Units within TSBE
Support consistent and efficient service delivery by assisting the Business Manager in the development, refinement, and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures, and by modelling proficient use of approved University systems (e.g., Help Hub)
Contribute to a positive, high‑performing, continuous improvement service culture by identifying and leading opportunities for process improvements, developing specialist expertise in key operational areas, and providing guidance and informal coaching to Administration Officers
Support internal communications and events, as required, by providing administrative and coordination assistance
Manage complex administrative tasks that require cross‑team coordination and high levels of accuracy, ensuring timely delivery of portfolio‑wide services relating to finance, procurement, learning and teaching activities, and research support
Requirements:
Demonstrated commitment to high-quality customer service, with the ability to anticipate needs, resolve more complex enquiries, and proactively contribute to the enhancement of systems, processes, and procedures to support continuous improvement
Highly developed interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills
Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team, exercising sound judgement, initiative, and problem-solving skills within established guidelines, and providing guidance or support to colleagues where required
Strong organisational capability, including demonstrated experience managing competing priorities, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail, working with discretion, and upholding confidentiality across sensitive or complex administrative tasks
Advanced digital and systems capability, including a high level of proficiency with Microsoft 365 products and demonstrated experience using enterprise systems or databases to support administrative processes and service delivery
