We are seeking a proactive and highly skilled Senior Administration Officer to provide high-level support within a prominent State Government department. This is a pivotal role requiring a professional who can manage complex administrative tasks, coordinate departmental functions, and act as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
Job Responsibility:
Manage complex diaries
schedule high-level meetings
coordinate departmental events
act as professional interface between department, government officials, and public
prepare, draft, and edit ministerial correspondence, briefs, and routine reports for senior management
maintain accurate digital records using government systems (e.g., TRIM, Objective, or SharePoint)
identify and implement administrative efficiencies
interpret complex information to provide guidance and resolve escalated queries
Requirements:
Mandatory experience in a State Government administrative or coordination role
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite
experience with government records management systems
Exceptional written and verbal skills
ability to draft formal correspondence
ability to multitask, prioritize high-pressure deadlines, and solve problems independently
must hold a current National Police Clearance (NPC)
Working with Children Check (WWCC) ideal
