Job Description:

This position is responsible for overseeing pricing for Aetna Small Group ACA markets as well as monitoring of financial results for the segment. The role involves strategic partnership with business partners to achieve profitability and membership goals through responsible pricing strategies and data-driven decision making.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee pricing for Aetna Small Group ACA markets
Monitor financial results for the segment
Contribute to achievement of profitability and membership goals
Devise responsible pricing strategies to help grow membership
Coordinate the pricing and filing work required for several states
Monitor financials for several states and communicate results with business partners
Manage forecasting process for the segment
Set and manage priorities to meet pre-established deadlines
Management of several team members
Cultivate relationships with local regulators and negotiate terms of rate filings

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree along with 5+ years actuarial experience
ASA (Associate of the Society of Actuaries) required
Prior healthcare experience
Experience with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
Ability to work with large and detailed data sets
Strong communication skills
Solid technical/analytical skills and attention to detail

Nice to have:

Experience with ACA markets
FSA credential
