Our client is looking for a Senior Pensions Actuarial Consultant to join a growing and highly regarded team in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a broad range of DB pensions assignments, with the chance to gain exposure to pensions risk transfer work depending on your experience and interests. The role offers varied client exposure, interesting project work and strong long-term development opportunities.

Job Responsibility

  • Reviewing actuarial calculations and supporting junior team members
  • Working on DB pensions consulting assignments across a varied client portfolio
  • Supporting pensions risk transfer projects, including insurer liaison and project management
  • Contributing to specialist areas such as longevity, GMP equalisation and wider strategic pensions work
  • Drafting clear client communications and presentations

Requirements

  • Qualified pensions actuary
  • Strong UK pensions actuarial consulting experience
  • Excellent technical knowledge across valuations, member options and pensions accounting
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to manage work within agreed budgets
