Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the design and execution of strategic business initiatives, leveraging data-driven insights to inform decision-making
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive business cases, presenting findings and recommendations to senior management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions and track progress against key performance indicators
  • Identify and analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of actuarial experience in non-life insurance
  • High proficiency in MS Office suites
  • Fluency in both Japanese and English (written and oral)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • A fast learner, problem-solver, and team player
  • Ability to work both independently and cooperatively
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Accuracy and strong attention to detail
  • Curiosity and flexibility to handle various ad-hoc tasks

Nice to have:

  • Experience with DFA software (e.g., ReMetrica, Igloo)
  • Knowledge of various actuarial pricing techniques
  • Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., R, Python, SQL)
  • Understanding of the reinsurance industry and its products
