Job Description:

Perform technical modeling and analysis under HKRBC / IFRS 17 / BSCR for reporting tracks, or execute pricing models across various product lines for pricing tracks Assist in data collection, cleaning, and preparation for experience studies, R&D and financial results Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new product launches or reporting engine modifications to ensure calculations align with specifications Propose and implement enhancements to actuarial tools (Excel/Prophet) and reporting workflows to drive operational efficiency Draft technical reports, presentation decks, and regulatory documentation ensuring all work meets internal audit and compliance standards Provide analytical support for special quotation requests, reinsurance management, and other ad-hoc actuarial projects

Job Responsibility:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics or Statistics
  • With at least 3 years relevant experience in life insurer, re-insurer or consultancy
  • Good progress in actuarial examinations, candidates with ASA / Associate level are highly preferred
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft office, experience in actuarial stochastic modelling (e.g. Prophet, RAFM or Python etc.) is an advantage
  • Strong analytical skill and good communication skills
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese
