A leading life insurer is looking for a Senior Actuarial Analyst to join their Advanced Analytics & Insights team. This is an intellectually stimulating role where you will work on cutting-edge analytical projects using large, unique datasets unavailable to competitors. Job Responsibility

  • Conduct analytics projects leveraging proprietary datasets to generate actionable insights for underwriting, pricing, and risk management
  • Develop, validate, and refine predictive models, turning complex results into clear recommendations for stakeholders
  • Investigate new data sources and analytical methods to enhance decision-making across Protection and Longevity
  • Work closely with internal teams and external partners to apply analytical outputs effectively in business processes
  • Use Python, R, SQL, or similar tools to perform rigorous, reproducible analysis and maintain high-quality data standards

Requirements

  • Part-qualified actuarial student, progressing toward FIA or equivalent
  • 2–5 years’ experience in actuarial, analytics, or related roles, ideally in pricing, underwriting, or research-focused environments
  • Proficient in statistical modelling, predictive analytics, and data science tools
  • familiarity with insurance risk frameworks is advantageous
  • Strong communicator, able to explain complex analytical ideas to non-technical audiences
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable as a specialist contributor in a collaborative team environment
