Job Responsibility:
Conduct analytics projects leveraging proprietary datasets to generate actionable insights for underwriting, pricing, and risk management
Develop, validate, and refine predictive models, turning complex results into clear recommendations for stakeholders
Investigate new data sources and analytical methods to enhance decision-making across Protection and Longevity
Work closely with internal teams and external partners to apply analytical outputs effectively in business processes
Use Python, R, SQL, or similar tools to perform rigorous, reproducible analysis and maintain high-quality data standards
Requirements:
Part-qualified actuarial student, progressing toward FIA or equivalent
2–5 years’ experience in actuarial, analytics, or related roles, ideally in pricing, underwriting, or research-focused environments
Proficient in statistical modelling, predictive analytics, and data science tools
familiarity with insurance risk frameworks is advantageous
Strong communicator, able to explain complex analytical ideas to non-technical audiences
Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable as a specialist contributor in a collaborative team environment
