Senior ACS Momentum Financials Business Analyst

• Provide Federal Financials subject matter expertise using Momentum Financials
• Provide support for VHA’s Accounting Classification Structure (ACS) efforts: Attend and participate in multiple ACS meetings, Handle multiple demands from various sources, Compile and organize large volumes of data
• Support external customers with analyzing current business processes, developing requirements, implementing financial management processes, developing and testing solutions to client issues, and supporting end users
• Lead functional support for the design, development, and testing of system interfaces between Momentum and VA legacy systems
• Support VHA in the research and analysis for financial statement reporting, internal controls, and responses to internal and external audits
• Lead analysis on business problems, research and recommend solutions, and execute resolution steps to address client issues
• Provide functional support for testing, such as developing test scenarios and documentation and performing validation testing, for the Momentum Financials application, as well as associated reports and interfaces
• Assist clients in leading new initiatives, such as analyzing business requirements, developing design documentation, and training and supporting end users with system functionality
• Facilitate, lead, and participate in virtual and face-to-face meetings with government clients and other organizations

• Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of experience OR 10+ years of overall related experience and a master’s degree
• 8+ hands-on experience with Financial ERP systems, specifically with CGI’s Federal Financial System (FFS) and Momentum strongly desired
• Knowledge of VA’s new Accounting Classification Structure (ACS) and experience with this effort
• Ability to effectively communicate and interact with senior level management and clients
• Expert in Microsoft Excel, including but not limited to application of formulas, macros, filtering, pivot tables, graphs and charts
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• An outstanding ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
