Known for their robust business model and commitment to operational excellence, our client is experiencing steady growth and is seeking a highly capable Senior Account Executive to strengthen their core finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on finance professional who wants to take true ownership of the numbers. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will be the anchor of the company's daily financial operations. Your primary mandate will be managing the full spectrum of accounting functions, with a critical focus on cash flow management to ensure the company maintains optimal liquidity for its operational needs.
Job Responsibility:
Full charge of end-to-end accounting functions: managing AP, AR, and GL
Perform accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closings
Conduct regular bank, intercompany, and creditor/debtor reconciliations
Monitor and manage daily cash flow positions and liquidity
Prepare detailed weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts
Manage prompt collections from clients and strategically plan supplier payments
Prepare accurate monthly financial statements and management reports
Assist in variance analysis and provide insights on operational spending and cost control
Ensure all financial records comply with MFRS/MPERS and statutory requirements
Serve as primary point of contact for external auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries
Prepare schedules and working papers for annual audits and assist in tax computations including SST
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Candidates pursuing professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, MIA) are highly encouraged to apply
Minimum 2 to 5 years of solid, hands-on experience managing full sets of accounts
Strong, proven track record in cash flow management and forecasting is strictly required
Proficient in accounting software and possess strong Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP)
Highly meticulous, organized, and detail-oriented
Proactive self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders
