Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Assistant for a contract role based in Dublin 22.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist the wider team with Payroll, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, and Management Reporting
  • Reconcile bank statements and financial records
  • Assist with month-end and year-end financial close processes
  • Maintain organised and precise financial documentation and records
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve invoicing and payment discrepancies
  • Provide support in the preparation of financial reports and statements

Requirements

  • Strong accounts assistant background, minimum 5 years’ experience is preferred
  • Strong IT skills, with proficiency in accounting software (Sage)
  • Previous experience in a high volume Payroll environment
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to handle a high volume of transactions and maintain accuracy under pressure
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
