Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare and submit the tax reporting and payments
  • Review, and prepare monthly clients and corporate reports (Profit and Loss, Balance sheet, trial balance etc.)
  • Review all AR and AP accounts and transactions
  • Prepare ad-hoc clients and corporate reports
  • Prepare the reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts and ensure bank and credit card reconciliations are done correctly and on time
  • Provide general accounting support and training
  • Assist with internal and external audits
  • Support with budget preparation

Requirements:

  • Strong computer skills, Excel in particular (advanced formulas, pivot tables)
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles (3 years of experience), as well as the taxation system of the province, laws and regulations
  • Being attentive to details and accurate
  • Excellent analytical and the ability to analyze large amounts of data
  • Self-starter with high degree of initiative
  • A team-oriented approach to meeting goals
  • Bilinguism: Fluent French and Intermediate English
